Mumba Cloud Featured in the Australian Financial Review

We are extremely proud to have been featured in a very recent news article in the Australian Financial Review entitled Mumba gears up as mobile app demand rises. The post highlights the rapidly growing enterprise mobile app market as well as the highly impressive strides Mumba Cloud continues to make in this burgeoning area.

In addition to Gartner, the world’s leading information and technology research company, Australian industry leaders such as Angelo Demasi (BCG’s digital venture director for Asia), are also convinced that the market for digital apps is growing rapidly. Demasi estimates that the demand for mobile apps will double in the next three years.

Furthermore, Demasi concurs with Gartner about the growing evidence of skills shortages in this sector, and a summary of the Gartner report can be viewed here.

Both Demasi and I are of the view that whilst mobile applications add great value to their underlying systems and processes, they also have the capacity to form key competitive advantages when business models are aligned with mobility as a strategy.

Ultimately, therefore, mobile app solutions have the potential to deliver value to a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external, and be at the heart in which business is conducted in the future.

Also featured in the article is Accenture Australia’s mobility leader, Abraham Sahley who expects mobile applications to become a normal component of enterprises’ technology infrastructure but believes that expense is currently inhibiting this. Mumba Cloud’s fully managed solution, however, makes enterprise mobility applications vastly more affordable, as compared with organisations seeking to build in-house or outsource mobile app development.

As a consequence of our growth, Mumba Cloud has recently entered into a recruitment drive seeking out the most talented ‘full stack” mobile developers. In doing so we join the ranks of competitors such as BCG, IBM, Accenture and Deloitte, all of whom are doing likewise.
