Introducing Mumba Open Source

Introducing Mumba Open Source

At Mumba, we benefit greatly from Open Source - from various flavours of the Linux kernel, Docker containers, Node.js Microservices right through to our Angular 2 web clients. If it wasn’t for many individuals and companies sharing their works, our job building Enterprise class web and mobile applications would be a lot harder.

Today we're proud to announce that Mumba is becoming an Open Source contributor. Not only because we believe in the Open Source ideals of giving back, but we also believe that the attention-to-detail we apply to our architectural design and testing will help attract like minded people to collaborate and work with us.

Over the coming months we will be Open Sourcing much of our Node.js and TypeScript tooling that we use to build our API Microservices. We are particularly excited about sharing our Web Application Messaging Protocol (WAMP) library that we use to connect to our Crossbar.io router using only web sockets.

If you are interested in what we have to offer please take a look at our Mumba Open Source page. Please contact us to join our newsletter and to receive notifications on our latest open source updates.
