Mumba is proud to announce the appointment of Mark Croudace as Managing Director, effective February 2017

Announcing Mark’s appointment, Anthony Zets, founder and CEO of Mumba, said: “Mark’s significant commercial skills, capabilities and leadership qualities will all play a pivotal role in taking Mumba to the next phase of its growth, which has already been impressive to date. As such, one of Marks’s key strategic objectives is to optimise our commercial offering, both locally and internationally, to clients and investors alike”.

A chemical engineer by profession, Mark is a passionate leader and mentor who has added commercial, strategic and people leadership skills, to what has become an outstanding skillset. These skills have already been applied with exemplary outcomes across APAC, Africa, Europe, the Middle East and the Americas, thereby adding a wealth of experience and perspective from which Mumba will benefit significantly.

Furthermore, Mark has an enviable track record as an entrepreneur and investor. In addition to his role as Managing Director, Mark has also invested financially in Mumba. In this regard, Mark was inspired by Mumba’s world first enterprise mobility technology that combines multiple IT systems into a single, easy to use employer branded app, delivering real world results in real time. Mark summed up his decision to invest succinctly by saying, “As a business leader, it took just 2 minutes looking at the Mumba app to know that this is the future”.

Mark’s success spans numerous industries including: professional services, engineering, oil & gas, mining, infrastructure, banking, facilities management, property and government.

Prior to joining Mumba, Mark has successfully held Partner and Managing Director level roles with blue-chip international organisations including Ernst & Young, Coffey International, and ERM. Mark brings significant capability in enhancing performance in the areas of strategy and business development.

Mark’s strong analytical and people management skills will play an important role in Mumba’s growth moving forward. Mark also understands the enormous benefits that accrue from listening to stakeholders and adopts an ‘open door policy’ in this regard. Being a leader that understands the benefits of communication and collaboration, provides a strong cultural fit with Mumba’s own offering.

Mark’s impressive qualifications include an MBA from the University of NSW and a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) from the University of Sydney. Mark has also studied leadership at the Harvard Business School.
