Business Social Network Consulting Framework for Enterprise

Business Social Network Consulting Framework for Enterprise

Since 2010, Mumba Cloud has been providing consulting advice for enterprise social networking to some of Australia's largest companies.

Every client we work with has a different set of requirements and objectives, company culture and way of doing business. Furthermore, each client is looking to either replace current systems, implement new systems or integrate old with new. Objectives usually start out with what we term basic 'primal goals' and then expand into strategic or operational objectives. The path to implementation is often a complex process that is difficult to navigate.

Business Social Networking is still considered an emerging technology where many benchmarks vary from sector to sector and norms are yet to be established.

We've recently written a series of white-paper articles that explain the enterprise social network consulting process as it forms part of our implementation framework. Mumba Cloud Consultants focus on large scale implementations because small to medium sized companies rarely have complex requirements when compared to large enterprises. For example, decision making processes, stakeholder buy-in, systems integration, user adoption, cultural impacts, internal communication obstacles and legacy IT systems are less common issues in small to medium sized businesses.

The purpose of these articles is to educate and assist social business consultants and/or companies that are seeking a deeper understanding of the consulting process surrounding large-scale enterprise social business implementations.

Mumba Cloud strongly advocates that enterprise social networking tools need to be applied to specific business objectives in order to deliver business value. Understanding the consultation process ensures that companies maximize their Return On Investment (ROI) which is positive for the enterprise social networking industry in general.

Our first article that provides an overview of our Enterprise Social Network Consulting Framework is available here.
